NASHVILLE BUS ROUTE
Upon completion of my first solo show I find myself a little antsy and not at all showered with cash like my dreams had hoped. Not really, I didn’t think that at all. I think I need a change of scenery and I am contemplating a possible short time move to self assign a new job. To begin I may get on the Metro bus system here and try to photograph the going ons from the bus and inside. Why? Not sure yet but it seems interesting and I don’t have to drive. New York we may meet again.
AMERICAN DREAMING: new work MAY 5th 2012
I took my mom on a ride in the van Sunday in Alabama stopping and turning around several times to go back and shoot something on the side of the road. She was cool with it and always asked what kind of flowers were around where ever we were.
Heather Liddington Shoot: American Dreaming Continues
I am moving towards intentional abstract conceptions as the American Dreaming series gets ready to go up. I consider this to be a moving body of work as it doesn’t seem to want to stop being created. It’s voice is becoming considerable in my thoughts.
MEGAN LIGHTELL: Nashville Arts
Megan has an upcoming show at Zeitgeist Gallery and a write up in Nashville Art this month accompanied with a photo I shot in her home studio. Do yourself a favor and go see these paintings in large scale. They truly are beautiful.
